About Us
The Spinney is a setting for children between the ages of 4 and 7 that have Autism or communication difficulties. Children who attend Forest Wood often have a range of needs in addition to these.
All children will have the opportunity to access an appropriate, tailored curriculum through play, one to one work and when appropriate, small group work. They will work towards outcomes set in their EHCPs (broken into smaller targets in their Individual Education Plans (IEPs)) and be supported by a range of staff on site and external professionals where appropriate.
The indoor and outdoor learning environments provide a wide range of activities where children can explore and play independently, alongside others and with others. Your child’s day will be tailored specifically to their needs.
